SUBJECT: 【 Announcement】2026 Library Summer Vacation Opening Hours (2026/6/29-9/05)

Description:

1. Timetables below are referred to 2026 government administrative agency office calendar , NTUE Academic Calendar and summer vacation schedule. ( According to the minutes of the 247th Executive Meeting).

2. 2026 Library Closure Days is based on the Implementation Regulations for Memorial Days and Holidays passed by the Legislative Yuan on May 9, 114. Any subsequent changes will be adjusted based on relevant NTUE's announcements.

3. Extended opening of the library during the flex supplement teaching weeks: Library will be open normally during the flex supplement teaching weeks (week 17-18), and extended opening services will be implemented from June 27 (Sat.) to June 28 (Sun.) on the weekend of the 18th week.

4. Opening hours during Summer vacation: During summer vacation from June 29 to September 4, 2026, library is open from 8:00 to 18:00; closed on weekends and common days off. Details are provided on the library's website under > Services > Reading Services > Opening Hours.

5. Resumption of normal opening hours: 2026 summer vacation ends on September 4, and the library will resume normal opening hours from Saturday, September 5th. Normal Opening hours is from 8:00 to 22:00 on week days, and 9:00 to 17:00 on weekends during the semester.

6. Precautions for returning books during summer vacation: During library’s closure hours, please return books through 24-hour Outdoor Book Return located on the right front of the library’s main gate. After returning, remember to check on the library’s website on the next opening day to make sure whether the records are correct. If you have any questions, please call for circulation desk’s help during office hours.
